Mcqueen, Boko and Koko
Oh, I definitely owe this blog a looooot of information:)
I've been so busy lately that I hardly manage to catch up and write a story for my Bulgarian blog... In general... here's what I finished recently:

It was our shop's first order. I was really excited and had to sew it four times in order to get the wanted result. For my greatest surprise Mcqueen looks like itself:).
I started our site recently and I've been working quite hard on it. You can have a look although it's just in Bulgarian for now. My next task will be translating it and I hope it'll happen really soon:)
We also got permission from the author to translate Leah Day's lovely beginner quilting book Stitch Up a Notch to Bulgarian and I'm working on that at the moment. I'm really excited about the result:)
Well... I really hope I haven't disappointed my readers here (if any) but... it's so hard to support so many places on the internet:)
Have a great week!

The site:)
I haven't posted here for a long time now, but I really think it was worth:) I finally managed to get our site and online shop going. You can check it out at Teaket Quilt Shop
although it's just in Bulgarian now, but I'll make sure it'll be translated asap. This site has been my dream for few years now and I still can't believe it's happening:) I really hope it works:)

Fairitopia Quilt

The opening...
Wednesday, February 16, 2011
That's my greeny project. I can now officially declare that I'm ready for the spring:) It took me some time to figure out what would go with all those colors from the stripes, but it turned out well:) I also experimented with my machine quilt stitch - the first time that I don't use free motion quilting and... I'm not sure I like it... Having in mind that I LOVE the free motion quilting:)
So... That's my call for the spring and my wish to you for a sunshine and new beginnings:)

Karen Table set
Yes, I know it's been so long since my last post, but I had the influenza, one of my kids had the chicken pot, then I spent two weeks PURE sewing:) My mom came and took care of the kids, so I had the most selfish two weeks in my life:)
That is how I finally did it - the KAREN MC TAVISH FEATHERS:) I love that woman - it's she and of course Leah Day that I owe so much of my quilting abilities and inspiration...
Of course I've tried feathers before, but they always were somehow free stylish, but this time I finally did it...I know there's a lot more to exercise and learn, but I'm so glad that I made my first Karen feathers:)
